Book Publishing Services for a Clear Path to Publication
Take your completed manuscript through the next steps with self publishing services that cover preparation, publication, and distribution. As a book publishing company, we keep the process organized and transparent, so you understand what happens next and stay involved in the decisions that shape your final book.
Publish your book without losing control of it
Finishing a manuscript is a major step, but it does not automatically make the book ready for readers. Authors still need to make decisions about editing, cover design, interior formatting, book size, pricing, metadata, distribution and platform requirements. The difficult part is often not learning how to publish a book. It is knowing which tasks belong in which order and whether the files meet current publishing standards.
Our book publishing services bring those tasks into one managed process. You provide the manuscript, book details and approvals. We review the material, recommend the right production steps and coordinate the specialists needed to prepare the book for release. Nothing is submitted or published without your approval.
This service is best suited to authors with a finished or nearly finished manuscript who want practical publishing support. If the book still needs to be written, restructured or heavily revised, our book writing services or book editing services may be a better starting point.
Requirements
A publishing project moves faster when the manuscript, book information and approvals are ready at the right time. Before work begins, we confirm what you will provide, which services are included and who has authority to approve the book.
You do not need to understand every technical requirement before contacting us. Part of our role is to explain what is missing and what should happen next. However, we will need accurate information from you before the book can be prepared or submitted.
Deliverables
Your written scope will explain exactly which book publishing services are included. It will also state the schedule, revision limits, fees, file types and platform support covered by the project.
Some authors need an all in one publishing service. Others already have edited manuscripts, finished covers or formatted files and only need help with the remaining steps. We build the scope around the actual condition of the book rather than charging for work that has already been completed properly.
Your publishing journey starts here.
Take your manuscript to the next chapter with Winfrey Publishing. Whether you are starting from a single idea or holding a finished draft, an editorial director is ready to read it — original writing, unlimited revisions until you approve, and support you can actually reach on the telephone.
Book Publishing, stage by stage
-
Plan
We review the manuscript, existing files and your publishing goals. We then identify what is ready, what still needs work and which publishing route suits the project. You receive a written scope showing the services, estimated schedule, review stages, fees and exclusions. Work begins after you approve the plan.
-
Produce
The assigned team prepares the book according to the approved scope. This may include editing, proofreading, book cover design, interior formatting, ebook conversion or metadata preparation. Your coordinator keeps the stages in the correct order so later work is not built on an unfinished or unapproved file.
-
Approve
You review the cover, interior, metadata and proof copies at the agreed milestones. We make the included revisions and complete technical checks before submission. The book does not move to publication simply because a date has been added to the calendar. Your approval is required before the final files are released or uploaded.
-
Distribute
Once the files are approved, we prepare or submit the book through the publishing platforms included in your agreement. We also check the listing information and provide the final files or account handover. Retailers and distributors make their own approval and availability decisions. We prepare the book for submission, but we do not promise guaranteed acceptance, sales, rankings or bookstore placement.
Self-publishing support
Publishing optionsSelf publishing gives authors more control over their rights, pricing, files and publishing accounts. It also places more responsibility on the author to make sure the book is edited, designed, formatted and submitted correctly. Our self publishing services help you manage that responsibility without handing over ownership of the book.
Paperback publishing
Prepare a print-ready paperback with the correct trim size, margins, bleed settings, cover measurements and interior files. Paperback support may also include proof review, pricing setup and print-on-demand configuration.
Hardcover publishing
Hardcover editions often require different cover dimensions, spine calculations and production choices. We prepare the edition according to the specifications of the selected publishing platform.
Kindle publishing services
Our Amazon Kindle publishing service can include ebook formatting, metadata preparation, KDP account setup support and file submission. We can also help authors understand how to publish on Amazon Kindle without giving up control of their KDP account.
Barnes & Noble Press publishing
Support for authors who want to publish on Barnes & Noble may include file preparation, account guidance and listing setup through Barnes & Noble Press. Availability depends on the platform's current requirements and approval process.
IngramSpark publishing services
IngramSpark can help make a book available to a wider network of retailers, libraries and wholesalers. Our IngramSpark self publishing support may include account setup guidance, print file preparation, metadata entry and distribution configuration. KDP and IngramSpark serve different purposes, so the right choice depends on your formats, distribution goals and budget.
Apple Books publishing
For ebook projects, we can prepare suitable EPUB files and support submission through Apple Books where included in the scope. This may include metadata preparation, cover review and account setup guidance.
Google Play Books publishing
Google Play Books self publishing support may include ebook file preparation, listing information and guidance for the Google Books Partner Program. Authors keep control of their account, pricing and approved files.
Global book distribution
A global book distribution service can make a title orderable through selected online retailers, wholesalers or library channels. Distribution creates availability. It does not guarantee that stores will stock the book or that readers will purchase it.

About book publishing
A traditional publisher normally selects books for its own publishing list and may acquire certain publishing rights under a contract. Our model is service based. You hire us to help prepare and publish the book while keeping the ownership stated in your agreement. We review, recommend and produce. You approve the work and keep control of the book.
Self publishing is the publishing model. It means the author or the author's business acts as the publisher instead of transferring the book to a traditional publishing house. Our self publishing services provide the practical support needed to prepare files, set up listings and manage production. You remain responsible for final approvals and account decisions.
Not always. We can review the manuscript and tell you whether it is ready for formatting and production. If it still needs structural work, sentence-level editing or proofreading, we will recommend the appropriate service before the book is formatted. Publishing an unedited manuscript usually creates more expensive corrections later.
The schedule depends on the condition of the manuscript, the services selected, the number of formats and how quickly feedback is provided. A book that already has approved editing, cover design and formatting will usually move faster than a project that requires full production. Your estimated timeline will be included in the written scope after review.
Packages can include editing, proofreading, cover design, illustration, book formatting, ebook conversion, metadata preparation, platform setup and distribution support. We do not assume every author needs the same package. Your quote will show the specific services included, rather than using a vague bundle with unclear deliverables.
The account arrangement depends on the selected service and written agreement. In many cases, authors are better served by using accounts they own and control. Where we assist with KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, Apple Books or Google Play Books, we explain the account requirements before setup begins.
Your royalty arrangements depend on the retailer, distributor and account used for publication. When the book is published through an account you own, the platform normally reports and pays royalties according to its terms. Winfrey Publishing does not claim your royalties unless a separate written agreement clearly states otherwise.
No. Every publishing platform, retailer and distributor has its own technical, content and account requirements. We prepare and review the files for the selected platform, but the final approval belongs to that company. We will explain any rejection or correction request that falls within the agreed service.
Book distribution services can make a title available for bookstores to order. This is different from guaranteed shelf placement. Bookstores decide which titles they stock based on demand, pricing, returnability, wholesale terms and their own buying policies. We do not promise guaranteed retail placement.
Yes, pricing support can be included in the publishing scope. We can review printing costs, retailer discounts, format differences and royalty estimates before you approve the list price. The final price remains your decision.
Your manuscript is ready for its next chapter
Thirty minutes, no obligation, and an honest answer about what your book needs. If we think you should keep revising, that is what you will hear.
